Our Clarifying Blemish Serum is a botanical peacemaker for skin that tends to act up regularly or just on occasion. We looked to nature for the answer and found it in the white willow bark tree, where the bark is a source of salicin.
White willow bark is just as effective at providing damage control as salicylic acid, yet it's gentler on sensitive skin. It clears out pores and mediates oil production to diminish breakouts, promote cell turnover, and improve the look of darkened scars over time with regular use. We also added niacinamide to help even out skin tone, and chamomile to calm things down. It penetrates invisibly and works beautifully so that you can apply it at night or during the day, alone or underneath your makeup and sunscreen. We always recommend sunscreen if sun exposure is expected.

Directions: Cleanse skin with a non-irritating soap (we recommend one of our gentle face bars), then apply a few drops of serum and allow it to completely soak in. You can use this serum alone if your skin is oily, or follow its application with our Clarifying Face Oil or a moisturizer if desired. WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS SERUM IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN. Aspirin is a synthetic salicylate so if you are allergic to aspirin, you could be allergic to this serum. WARNING: White willow bark can make some skin more susceptible to sunburn so USE SUNSCREEN if exposure to sunlight is expected. We always recommend the use of sunscreen. For external use only. Do not eat.
